Lab Tours on Thursday 10/17.
2 tours will be taking place.
11:00 am – Sessler Lab in NHB 5.330
11:30 am – Webb Lab in WEL 3.308
The Sessler Lab is a synthetic organic laboratory where research is focused on developing new anticancer drugs, understanding the principles of electron transfer, and preparing so-called receptors that can complex other atomic and molecular species for purification and sensing applications.
The Webb laboratory studies the physical chemistry of biological interfaces using a wide variety of methods from physical, analytical, biological, surface, materials, and theoretical chemistry.
8 lab tours in the Center for Learning and Memory will take place in the Norman Hackerman Building between 11am-3pm. All students interested in the tours will need to go to the 3rd floor lounge of NHB. Signs will be on the ground floor of NHB with directions.
The following 3 labs will be open from 11am-3pm in the GDC for students to tour.
GDC 4.414A - Bioinformatics and Computational Biology
GDC 2.212 - Neural Network Research Group
GDC 6.504 - Computer Architecture and Operating Systems
All students interested please report to the atrium of GDC where information will be available.
